
Airport Reporting Officer (Part Time)

About the role
This position is a permanent part-time role located at the Moruya Airport and includes working early morning shifts to prepare for the first daily commercial flight, shifts commence at 6:00 am and include every third weekend. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Moruya Airport in a safe operating condition in compliance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and Council standards.
The starting salary for this position is $36.59 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation.

About you
The ideal candidate for this exciting position will have demonstrated knowledge of Airport operation / maintenance requirements and regulations and will be confident in the use of maintenance plant. You will have a keen eye for detail and safety will be a top priority for you.
Your application will further demonstrate the following:
- Well developed oral and written communication skills and customer relation skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and other relevant software packages.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn Aviation Security requirements and hold a Class 1AC Security Industry Licence.*
- To hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC) under the Aviation Transport Security Act 2004.*
- Knowledge of and ability to apply to Safety Management Systems.
