About the Opportunity
Cabonne Council has a permanent, part-time job share opportunity for
an enthusiastic and energetic person to join the Age of Fishes Museum team in Canowindra. You must be a good communicator and able to work as a team as you will be sharing this role with another staff member.
As an integral part of the Community and Economy team the Age of Fishes Museum Supervisor will work alongside the museum coordinator, tourism officers and volunteers to contribute to providing direction for activities and exhibitions within the museum and visitors' information centre ensuring a professional and positive public image. This includes ensuring a high standard of presentation of the museum grounds, buildings and displays.
Reporting to the Leader Community and Economy and Age of Fishes Museum Coordinator, you will work in a job share capacity on a seven-day fortnightly roster working a total of 29.5 hours each fortnight.

About You
This role is for an all-rounder who has a passion for the development of regional tourism and has a broad range of administrative, customer service and general maintenance skills,
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Qualifications and/or experience in a relevant field.
- Class C Drivers' licence.
- First aid certification.
- Working with children's check.
Remuneration and Benefits
The appointment will be in accordance with the Local
Government (State) Award 2023 and Cabonne Council’s policies and conditions
of employment.
As this is a part time job share role all entitlements will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
