What is required? 

Construction Officer – Water and Wastewater

Work as part of a team to construct and maintain the Shire’s drinking water, recycled water and wastewater infrastructure. 

Operate and maintain a tipper truck, all other plant and machinery as required and undertake labouring duties associated with the construction, repair and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure.

Provide a high level of customer service to Council’s internal and external clients to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Candidate specifics:

Essential

• Current Class HR driver licence with an ability to operate a manual transmission and a good and safe driving record.

Desirable

• Backhoe ticket.
• Demonstrated experience in the operation of relevant plant items, and basic mechanical knowledge. 
• Proven basic understanding of the operational requirements of water and wastewater reticulation networks.
