
Team Leader - Central Waste

The Package: $71,944.08 - $79,500.02 gross per annum + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 9 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.
Full time – 38 hours per week. 9-day fortnight conditions will apply.

In this role you will:
- supervise and support staff to ensure cohesive teamwork and high-quality service delivery.
- manage daily operations, including financial transactions and the operation and maintenance of plant and equipment.
- uphold and contribute to Council’s health, safety, environmental, and quality standards and culture.
We are looking for someone who:
- has relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in a similar leadership role, including the ability to operate and maintain plant equipment.
- can lead, motivate, and supervise staff effectively while meeting community expectations and making the best use of organisational resources.
- communicates clearly and manages time and priorities well to ensure goals are achieved within set timelines.
