Moree Plains Shire Council is seeking a highly motivated individual to work within the Water and Wastewater Services Team as a Plant Operator.
- Permanent Full-Time– 38 hours per week
- Location - Moree
- Attractive Salary ranging from $1,141.00 up to $1,311.95 per week (PLUS Superannuation) depending on qualifications and experience

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Plant Operator you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all Council plant for the construction and maintenance of water and sewer assets within the Shire, providing economic maintenance and construction services to ensure the level of service is provided with delivery of water and sewer services.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023.

ABOUT YOU

- Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent experience operating and maintaining various types of water and sewer plant and equipment safely.
- Reliable and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to getting the job done efficiently.
- Ability to safely operate the plant under all conditions
- Front End Loader/Backhoe Competency
