Find purpose and impact
Join a dynamic and
creative team at the Macquarie Regional Library (MRL), supporting marketing efforts
across three member councils. This key role combines strategy, design, and
communication to elevate MRL’s brand and services. You’ll manage marketing
campaigns, design materials, maintain social media, and oversee website
content, all while ensuring consistency with the MRL brand. With a focus on
creativity and autonomy, this position offers the opportunity to make a
significant impact on library programs and services, all within a collaborative
environment. Experience in marketing or graphic design, knowledge of Adobe
software, and a passion for community engagement are essential.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Develop and implement marketing and communication campaigns that promote MRL services, events and programs
- Create high-quality, engaging content for communication channels, including website, print materials, social media, and e-newsletter
- Provide a graphic design service to the Macquarie Regional Library and ensure produced material reflects corporate brand standards
- Support the library’s business brand by undertaking the design of various documents, brochures, newsletters, media releases and other resources and materials as required.
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Diploma in Marketing, Graphic Design or related discipline or experience commensurate to the qualification
- Demonstrated experience in marketing and promotion
- Experience and knowledge of graphic design applications across various mediums, including print and online
- Experience with a web content management system
- Knowledge of and experience using social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram and X
- Excellent written and oral skills

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $71,401 to $82,981.
