Cobar is a rural mining community located in western New South Wales, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city living. Council owns and operates the Cobar Shire & TAFE Library, Great Cobar Heritage Centre, Lilliane Brady Village (aged care facility), Children's Services, Youth & Community Centre as well as works depots in Euabalong and Cobar.

ABOUT YOU

You will be primarily responsible for the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of fleet and facilities management functions across Council, including the airport, workshop, operations depot, building and electrical maintenance, and stores.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position has responsibility for leading an efficient, cost-effective and community centered approach to the service provision of fleet management and building asset maintenance to maximising outcomes for Council.

This full-time position is classified as Band 3 Level 3 (commencing at $92,495) under Council's salary system in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award, working a nine-day fortnight, 35 hours per week.
