Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.

TRAINEE DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENT PLANNER (Permanent Term appointment – 2 years)

The purpose of the Trainee Development Assessment Planner is to assist the Development Assessment Planning Team to assess and make recommendations and deliver general advice relating to low impact development assessment in a consistent and highly accurate manner with regard to relevant environmental planning instruments and policies as stipulated by the relevant planning legislation.

Skills & Knowledge: The successful applicant will require computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite and good written and verbal communication skills.

Hours of work: 35 hours per week. 

Salary and conditions: Remuneration offered will be in accordance with clause 32C wage rates of the Local Government (State) Award 2023 (depending on age).
