Specialist Operator (Truck and Dog Trailer)
Location: Tamworth
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Primarily to expertly operate a Truck and Dog trailer combination
- Apply specialist skills in the operation of heavy plant and equipment.
- Carry-out daily maintenance for purpose-built plant and trucks.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
To be successful in this role you will hold a current HC Drivers licence. Display high levels of integrity whilst being reliable. Having a forward-thinking risk adverse, safety approach, will be advantageous, as well as being respectful to others.
The Specialist Operator (Truck and Dog Trailer) is responsible for:
- Operate a range of plant and equipment
- Engineering infrastructure construction & maintenance
- Working with minimum supervision
- Monitoring and maintaining a safe workplace
- Following safe work procedures
- Working knowledge of RMS load restraint guide, National Heavy Vehicle Regulators chain of responsibility rules and standard working hours legislation
- Complete standard forms
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Certificate III in Civil Construction, Plant or similar OR equivalent experience in a related field (typically at least 5 years).
- Heavy Combination (HC) Driver Licence
- Construction Induction – White Card
- RMS Traffic Control - (Yellow) Certificate Implement Traffic Control Guidance Plans
- Dogman Licence

Salary range: Grade 8 - $1,155.40 - $1,250.20 per week plus superannuation for a 38 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
