The Role

We are currently seeking a Junior Destination Experience Officer to join our team.
This opportunity is a foot in the door to all things Tourism! Working from our Forster Visitor Information Centre and out and about in the local community, the Junior Destination Experience Officer will assist at Barrington Coast pop up events and markets to promote local activities. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in customer service with a willingness to learn. You will have knowledge of Microsoft office programs and have the ability to navigate and understand use of the web for research and learning purposes.
Our service operates over 7 days a week and this role will be expected to work outside core business hours (inclusive of after school, weekends and school holidays).

Salary: Commencing rate of $13.37 to $22.95 p/h (dependent on age) plus 25% casual loading and penalty rates on weekends/public holidays.
Location: This position will be required to be based out of our Visitor Information Centre in Forster. With expectation you will be out and about at various locations across our Local Government Area.
Tenure: Casual
Closing date: Wednesday 4 December 2024 at 11.30 pm.
