As a Lead Labourer, you’ll grow your skills with opportunities to work on exciting projects across various locations in our region while enjoying the flexibility of a 9 day fortnight. In this hands on role you'll contribute to the construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure and assets for the community where you live and physically see the impact of your efforts. Working within a supportive team you'll achieve a better balance, where your career and life outside work matters.
You'll work with a great team to:
- Drive and operate machine competently to load trucks and shape earthworks
- Undertake a variety of civil works duties including road construction/maintenance, pot hole and heavy patching, footpath work, pipelaying, linemarking, pipe laying and minor sealing works.
- Undertake plant maintenance as per manufacturer’s guidelines
- Collate and record information required for works undertaken
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience and skills in civil infrastructure related works such as plant operation, road construction and maintenance.
- Competent truck driving skills for a truck in the range up to 8t.
- Physical fitness to undertake the inherent requirements of the job.
- Basic literacy and numeracy
- Class MR Drivers Licence.
We would also love you to have:
- Higher grade truck licences, ability to operate other plant.
- RMS Traffic control tickets (Traffic Controller/Implement traffic control plan)

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $57,826 to $67,203.
