The Package: $92,645.28 - $102,375.52 gross per annum + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 14 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.
Full-time - 35 hours per week. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely for the right candidate, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Do you want to drive growth and sustainability with geospatial solutions? As a Geographic Information Systems Analyst & Administrator, you'll play a vital role in managing and analysing spatial data to inform strategic decisions and support community development.
In this role you will:
- Provide specialist advice and expertise to manage the Branch’s spatial data and deliver high quality geospatial information, analysis, products, and services that support the strategic land use planning functions of the Branch, including the delivery of s10.7 planning certificates and developer contributions and other associated registers.
- Ensure Council’s land information is accurately curated, and processes are in place (automated as appropriate) to maintain data quality and ensure land information is available and accessible.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in the management and application of spatial data, including the analysis, mapping, and visualisation of that data.
- Has the ability to effectively use Esri ArcGIS Pro (or other GIS applications), the Microsoft Office suite of programs, and undertake responsible electronic records management.
- Can constructively contribute to organisational and team outcomes.
