Team Member Operations - Bulahdelah

The roles
We currently have two exciting opportunities available in our Operations South department based at Bulahdelah.
We’re looking for candidates who are not only experienced in civil construction but also bring a positive, team-oriented attitude to the workplace. The ideal candidates will be able to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team. A good cultural fit is essential, as we value open communication, respect, and a strong work ethic. Additionally, you should be willing to complete manual tasks and adapt to a range of physical work environments. This role requires the ability to work in all weather conditions and sometimes outside of normal hours, including overtime and emergency response/call-out situations.
You will:
- Carry out maintenance and construction duties in relation to roads, bridges and drainage
- Perform traffic control duties when required
- Comply with environmental requirements and procedures
- Hold a Current NSW class C Drivers licence (or higher)
- Possess a WorkCover accredited Construction Induction Card (White Card) including a demonstrated sound knowledge of Work, Health and Safety procedures
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Current approved Traffic Controller’s Card and Implement Traffic Control Plans Card
- Have experience on minor plant equipment (Plant includes: rollers, tractor, slashers, trucks and watercarts)

Salary: Commencing salary package $54,000 p.a. plus superannuation.
Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the MidCoast Council Depot located on Blanch Street, Bulahdelah. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
