The Opportunity
We seek a Work Health and Safety (WHS) officer, who assists Alice Springs Town Council (Council) to maintain strong operational compliance and continuous improvement of its safety culture
Your responsibilities will include assist in the implementation and delivery of the WHS management system, data input of incidents and updating and maintaining WHS registers, assist managers and supervisors with relevant reviews and document control for risk assessments, provide administrative support to Council’s WHS Committee and work groups, and assist in the implementation of risk identification and control strategies for specific activities. Undertake worksite assessments within a WHS and risk control context in cooperation with relevant supervisors and team leaders.

- Attractive salary of $86,187.13 p/a plus district allowance — $ 2611 w/dependents, $1498 w/o dependents.
