The Role:

Reporting to the Team Leader Assets (Mechanical/Electrical), this position will undertake and oversee new and existing work, electrical maintenance, installation, diagnostic and repairs to services on Orange City Council’s Water and Sewer electrical and automation installations, including pumps, motors and starter equipment, PLC, Telemetry and SCADA networks. You will also design, estimate and organise construction of electrical installations and other electrical requirements and perform switchboard condition assessments as required.

About you:

  • Electrical trade qualifications and Contractor's Licence
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Current General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Extensive experience working in the Water and Sewer industry with a thorough understanding of the Water and Sewer Electrical/Mechanical Infrastructure
  • Industrial electrical experience including familiarity with motor control, PLC Systems and process control
