As the Building Asset Maintenance Coordinator, you'll lead a dedicated team of people who truly care about delivering high-quality services in line with asset maintenance standards and risk management procedures. You'll achieve outcomes by overseeing the management and maintenance of Council's building assets portfolio with key responsibilities including coordinating inspections,
managing tenders for building services, overseeing construction and renewal

You'll work with a great team to:
- Coordinate
cyclic condition inspections, as well as preventative, routine,
condition-based, and reactive maintenance tasks for Council buildings, ensuring
effective prioritisation and timely completion - Organise, coordinate and assess tenders and quotations for building services and works
- Prepare reports to Council in relation to tenders and quotations for building services and works
- Project manage construction and renewal projects
- Provide input, prepare and manage budget for building assets portfolio
- Lead,
supervise, and communicate with your team of Asset Maintenance Officers,
ensuring individual duties are clearly defined, monitored, and performance
goals are consistently achieved
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Class C Drivers Licence
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction or relevant equivalent
- Extensive experience working in building maintenance and construction
- Experience in leading teams and inspiring staff to deliver an effective and responsive service in a busy
environment - Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to compile concise, written
technical reports and communicate with and deal with people at all levels - Strong project management experience and the capacity for administrative detail
We would also love you to have:
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control Systems.

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $85,603 to $99,483. A leaseback vehicle is also available.
