About the role
Are you an ambitious, skilled and motivated individual looking for an exciting opportunity to join the City of Coffs Harbours construction team? We are seeking Civil Construction Attendants.
In this role, you will work alongside a dynamic team dedicated to constructing high-quality civil infrastructure, including roads, bridges, water, and sewage systems. Your focus on safety and teamwork will play a crucial role in planning and implementing a variety of private works projects that meet the needs of our community and external customers.
We welcome applicants who are self-motivated and innovative, safety conscious and detail-oriented and who can work collaboratively in a team environment.

Travel outside the local government area may be required as part of this role's inherent requirements, Travel allowances will be paid as applicable.
Applicants who are interviewed may also go into a talent pool for future permanent, fixed term or casual opportunities.
About you?
- Certificate III in Civil Construction or similar, or willingness to complete in an agreed timeframe.
- Relevant industry experience in the construction of stormwater, potable water, sewer reticulation, steel-reinforced concrete structures, earthworks and road pavements.
- Knowledge and understanding of Work Health & Safety Legislation
- Obtains relevant licences and qualifications as per the Position Description.

- Starting hourly rate from $31.70 + superannuation
- Scope for performance-based salary increases
- Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week
