What you need to know...
- temporary full time - 76 hours per fortnight
- the package: $58,097 to $69,281 plus superannuation, per annum
- location - Grafton Regional Landfill, Elland
- shifts are on a rostered basis
- ideally, preferred fortnightly shift to be 9 days on (9.5 hour working days) and 5 days off.
About the role
Council has a position available in its Waste and Sustainability team for a Landfill Operator (weighbridge) at the Grafton Regional Landfill on a temporary 5 month contract.
The primary role of this position is to operate the Grafton Regional Landfill weighbridge, and carry out daily waste management operations at the Landfill, ensuring facilities are managed in accordance with NSW EPA licence conditions. This role requires strong customer service skills, great attention to detail/accuracy and computer literacy is essential.
Shifts will be rostered and preferably 9 days on (9.5 hour working days) and 5 days off.

This position is located at Grafton Regional Landfill, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
