The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to oversee the delivery of capital projects including water and sewer project management activities. Especially in regard to the monitoring of quality standards, maintaining associated records and documentation.
As a Water and Sewer Services Project Officer, you will develop and project manage capital projects including civil works and quality assurance as assigned and monitor project expenditure against project budgets and funding. You will prepare project design, tender and contract documents, and undertake community consultation programs related to planning and delivery of capital projects as required.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds a Diploma level qualification in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Recreation Planning or other relevant field (indicative) and has five (5) years recent relevant experience.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrated high-level project management skills including the ability to work independently and to be able to complete multiple projects within budget and timeframes.
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of budget and resource management processes.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and directing consultants, subcontractors and construction staff.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation skills.
Benefits
This is a fixed term full time position working 35 hours per week for a period of three (3) years.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $92,286.77 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1,591.70 per week base salary
- $183.05 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
