Training and Development Coordinator

Roper Gulf Regional Council is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Training and Development Coordinator to join our team in Katherine.
In this role, you will evaluate, develop and implement training programs that will improve the skills of our people and the organisation. This is a role where you can hit the ground running, conducting wide training needs assessment and identifying skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed. Some occasional travel throughout the community may be required.
To be successful in your role, you will have:
- Diploma or Advance Diploma in Training, Business or Human Resource Management, or a minimum (2) years’ work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role.
- Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate and/or community setting.
- Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).
- Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques.
- Demonstrated experience to implement, design and maintain a professional training and workforce development system.
