Salary from $83,993.22 to $92,780.60 per annum plus superannuation. (Salary package will be assessed based on skills, experience and qualifications)

About the role:

You will successfully Project Manage the work site operations including budgeting and sticking to deadlines to meet project schedules in construction and maintenance of Council's Engineering Infrastructure throughout the Wollongong LGA, such as:

  • CBD Upgrades
  • Car Park reconstruction
  • Drainage Upgrades
  • Cycleways and shared paths such as Grand Pacific Walk &
  • Pedestrian Facilities

This position involves undertaking repetitive manual tasks and applicants should be suitably fit to undertake the duties as outlined in the job description. As part of the recruitment process, assessments may be undertaken such as a practical and/or medical.

  • You are an experienced Foreperson, who fosters a cohesive team environment.
  • You are a positive leader, who delivers clear instructions and motivate a team to complete tasks to a high standard.
  • You build strong relationships with other teams around you, successfully liaising with internal and external stakeholders in a timely and cooperative manner.
  • You are a leader in safety with a strong focus to fulfill all your obligations in all areas of WHS.
  • You have demonstrated initiative, and problem-solving skills working in a dynamic workplace.
