Senior Building Surveyor

The Package: $115,044.64 - $127,118.42 gross per annum + 11.5% Super (Evaluated as Grade 16 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) (inclusive of market premium) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Full time - 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements may apply.

Are you looking to build on your skills while helping to shape the built environment in the local community? QPRC are looking for a skilled Building Surveyor to join our vibrant team and help bring the region into a new phase of development.

In this role you will:

• Ensure Council maintains an efficient and dependable approval system and building inspection service.
• Provide technical advice and support to the building assessment team.
• Investigate matters in relation to the Building Code of Australia
• Provide verbal and written advice to clients and other staff.

We are looking for someone who:

• Posses and maintain Building Surveyor - restricted (all classes of building) accreditation under NSW Fair Trading
• Demonstrates experience and understanding of the Local Government Act and NSW Environmental Planning legislation.
• Has the ability to mentor and support team members.
