Building Surveyor

The Package: $101,909.80 - $112,613.07 gross per annum + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 14 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Full time – 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements may apply.

Are you a qualified building surveyor and looking for a new challenge? Council is seeking a details-oriented individual to join our Building Certification team.

In this role you will:

• Assist in maintaining an efficient and dependable approval system and building inspection service.
• Manage the assessment and issue of building development and construction certificates.
• Contribute to workplace health ad safety, risk, environmental and quality objectives and targets.

We are looking for someone who:

• Posses and maintain Building Surveyor – restricted (class 1 and 10 buildings) accreditation under NSW Fair Trading
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the Local Government Act and NSW Environmental Planning legislation.
• Has the ability to contribute constructively to organisational and team outcomes.
