Job/Responsibilities

This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in open space maintenance or landscape construction, with an interest in Sportsfield maintenance and improvement.

In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and improvement of sporting facilities/fields and other public open spaces including:

  • Mowing, trimming, fertilising and weed control
  • Line marking
  • Preparation of cricket wickets
  • General cleanliness of sportsgrounds
  • Install and maintain irrigation and drainage systems
  • Install and maintain park furniture, sport equipment, fences, and pathways
  • Lawn and garden maintenance
  • Other general labour duties

So, what do you need?

To be successful in these positions you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in either open space maintenance (including use of small plant or tractor with implements) or landscape construction.
  • Current Class C driver’s licence
  • NSW General Construction Induction Card
