The role & you

Our Operations North department is seeking an experienced Grader Operator to join our team at the Gloucester Depot. In this role, you will primarily operate graders but may also work with other machinery, including rollers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, tractors, trucks, and water carts. The successful candidate will be a reliable and team-focused individual who prioritizes safety and is dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes for our community. If you have a passion for making a difference and the necessary experience, we encourage you to apply, even if you have experience with other plant machinery.

Please note that to be a successful candidate for this role you’ll be required to complete a pre-employment medical check (this will include a drug and alcohol test, sight and hearing, functional and medical component)

Salary: Commencing salary package range circa $60,950 to $73,000 p.a. plus superannuation (negotiable based on skills and experience).

Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the MidCoast Council Gloucester Depot located on Oak Street, Gloucester. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region. 

Tenure: Permanent, Full Time 38 hours per week. 9-day working fortnight. 

Closing date: Sunday 27 October 2024 at 11.30 pm.
