Assistant Financial Accountant

We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our Finance team on a permanent full time basis. 

In the role of Assistant Financial Accountant you will provide accounting support to Management and assist Council in obtaining its statutory obligations. 

What we offer...

• Permanent full time, 35 hours per week
• Annual salary from $72,316.40 to $86,515.00 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience) 
• Plus 11.5 % superannuation. 

What you'll need to be successful in the role...

• A Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• Experience working in a similar role
• Knowledge of goods and services tax and financial reporting
• A proven ability to work unsupervised, meet deadlines and data entry/spreadsheet skills.
