About the role

The Section Leader Planning and Delivery, Transport and Open Space Services leads the City's planning and delivery section, and is responsible for program development for transport, drainage, open spaces, and buildings as well as leading the delivery of the Group's capital works program.

The successful candidate will possess the skills and knowledge to provide support and effective leadership to their team, ensuring a positive and transparent approach to project delivery, and empowering their teams to lead change and innovation, in addition to managing effective, respectful, and positive relationships with key stakeholders.

This position is an exciting opportunity for a driven and ‘hands on' leader to join our organisation, and contribute to the City's liveability and services through the infrastructure it provides

About you?

Essential qualifications and experience include a tertiary qualification in Transport, Engineering, Construction Management or related disciplines, with experience in people leadership and transport, open space, or building development and project management, as well as a Class C Drivers Licence and a National Construction Industry Induction Certificate (White card).
