About the role
Exciting news - we're on the lookout for budding engineering designers interested in a two-year Traineeship to gain a Certificate IV in Civil Construction Design. If you're passionate about civil infrastructure design and eager to make a positive impact in your community and you're ready to apply your natural talents and skills to real-life situations, we'd love to have you on board!
As a Trainee Survey and Design, you will have the chance to contribute to a variety of exciting engineering tasks such as Engineering Survey, Basic Engineering Design, CAD Drafting, and field work. Throughout the traineeship, you will collaborate closely with experienced surveyors and civil engineering designers, taking part in daily activities, attending team meetings, preparing documentation, and communicating with stakeholders.

About you?
Are you ready to take on this awesome opportunity? If you have the energy, thrive on teamwork, and are eager to learn, then this is just the role for you! All you need is a NSW School Certificate (or equivalent) and a Current Driver's License (Minimum P1) and you're good to go!
Bonus points if you have a National Construction Industry Induction (Whitecard) and/ or previous experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or BrisCAD).
Our graduates can go onto land roles such as Engineering Designer, Draftsperson, or Engineering Surveyor.
What's on offer?
- $803.30 per week + 11.5 % Superannuation (for candidates 18 years or over)
- Temporary two (2) year position - 35 hours per week.
- Flexible start date.
- Scope for performance-based salary increases in line with the completion of studies.
- Support throughout your studies and reimbursements for learning materials and textbooks.
- Ongoing training and development throughout your qualification.
