Role Overview:The Foreperson is crucial in coordinating on-site teams to ensure that construction activities are executed according to project plans, specifications, and within time and budget constraints. The focus is on coordinating on-site teams to deliver relevant scopes of work in accordance with project plans and specifications to achieve performance targets. Also supports site safety, quality and environment control and identifies potential risks.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise all features of construction project from planning to implementation.Coordinate the work and performance of multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve outcomes.Provide and take leadership responsibility in health, safety and environment management.Organising tools, plant, machinery, materials and workers, and supervising construction activitiesContribute to development of work methods and rolling short term construction programs and plan daily/weekly production work.Complete progress reporting, and activities, reports for shift handovers and consistent regular reporting to the Site Manager or Project Manager.
What We’re Looking For:Trade Qualification in a relevant field and 2-5 years of construction experience, preferably in a leadership role managing site operations.Extensive industry experience and familiarity with different construction contracts and methodologies.Innovative problem solving, time management, organisation and prioritisation skills.Active listening and solid verbal and written communication.Tech savvy with Microsoft office and construction software.
