SharePoint Engineer - 12-Month Fixed Term | Geelong | Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)

Join a major digital transformation program focused on building a modern Microsoft 365 environment. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a secure SharePoint Online platform that supports collaboration, automation, and compliance across the enterprise.

You'll work closely with technical and information management teams to configure tenancy-level governance, metadata frameworks, automated workflows, and retention policies in line with Victorian Government standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online site collections, metadata structures, templates, and governance frameworks.Implement tenancy-level policies, DLP rules, and security configurations using Microsoft Purview.Build automated document workflows and approval processes using Power Automate and Power Apps.Support data migration using tools such as ShareGate and Migration Manager, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Collaborate with infrastructure, identity, and cyber security teams to integrate SharePoint within the broader Microsoft 365 environment.Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles to support transition and operations.About You:
5+ years of hands-on experience designing and building SharePoint Online solutions in complex enterprise environments.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview, data classification, and retention/disposition policies.Skilled in Power Automate and Power Apps for workflow automation.Experience with data migration tools (ShareGate, Migration Manager) and Azure DevOps.Understanding of PROV and government information management standards.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Details:
