Electrical Service Technician - Major Wind Farms- Chinchilla QLD

Opportunity available for electricians looking for entry into the Wind Industry! Due to the skills already on site, we will consider trade qualified candidates without Wind Farm experience with full training and qualifications offered for the right people.

About The Role

Reporting directly to the Lead Technician, you will be part of the electrical service technicians who will ensure that operations and maintenance work is executed safely, to a high standard and with minimal downtime to the assets on a major Wind farm based in regional QLD in Chinchilla.

Duties

Actively participate in WHSE, toolbox and daily pre-start meetingsAssist in the completion of Wind Turbine scheduled and unscheduled maintenanceAssist in maintaining wind farm Balance of Plant equipmentMaintain good working relationships with all stakeholdersAssist in achieving targeted wind farm performance standards

Skill, Experience and Qualifications - Essential

Trade experience in Electrical fieldCurrent driving licensePrevious experience working on large commercial or industrial projectsWorking within a troubleshooting or fault-finding environmentLocated within commutable distance of HughendenPhysically fit and able to climb towers
