Job description
- Enjoy five extra paid leave days to support your wellbeing
- Flexible working environment with two days per week WFH
- Central location close to public transport, cafes, and retail outlets
Lead complex, high-impact projects across a broad portfolio, working closely with diverse teams and stakeholders.
At Lives Lived Well, we’re passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives. For over 50 years, we’ve supported individuals and families affected by alcohol and other drugs, as well as those facing mental health and gambling challenges or transitioning from correctional centres. As we continue to grow, we’re building a reputation for clinical excellence, innovation, and genuine care - and we’d love for you to join us on this journey.
Your Opportunity
As our Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead transformational projects that bring new services, facilities, and opportunities to life, improving how we support individuals, families, and communities.
You’ll be at the forefront of initiatives that directly enhance the environments and experiences we provide, from establishing new treatment and wellbeing services to managing major fit-outs, refurbishments, and infrastructure upgrades. Many of your projects will be delivered in “live” operating environments, requiring you to balance operational priorities, manage stakeholder needs, and ensure minimal disruption to the people we serve.
The Senior Project Manager will contribute to our broader organisational transformation by embedding structured project governance, risk management, and lessons learned across our portfolio of capital, transformational and service projects. Your work will shape how we deliver change across the organisation, ensuring every project aligns with our strategy, values, and community purpose.
This is a full-time, maximum term (12-month) role based at our Bowen Hills office in Brisbane. Some travel within Queensland and interstate may be part of your adventure. If you’re looking for a role where your work has a tangible impact, this is it. Salary for this role is $130,000 - $140,000 plus Superannuation and Salary Packaging options.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a skilled Senior Project Manager who thrives in dynamic settings and is motivated by community impact. You’ll bring experience and enthusiasm, coupled with the following skills and attributes:
- Ability to lead end-to-end project delivery – from concept, business case and design through to construction, commissioning, evaluation and handover
- A collaborative approach – build strong relationships with internal leaders, clinical teams, funding partners, consultants, and contractors
- Experience in overseeing budgets, contracts, and schedules, ensuring financial discipline and timely, high-quality delivery
- Capacity to mentor and support other project managers, promoting excellence and accountability across the PMO
- Stakeholder engagement knowledge and communication skills to keep everyone aligned and informed
- A background in developing and maintaining clear, executive-level reporting and project documentation
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The confidence to manage interdependent projects with competing timelines and priorities
- Adaptability, initiative, and a strong sense of accountability in both independent and team settings
You’ll hold Project management certification with a tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business, or a related field highly regarded, and a current Australian Drivers Licence. Experience in the community services or health sector (especially AOD or mental health) is a plus.
Why Work for Lives Lived Well?
We’re a values-driven organisation that genuinely cares about our people. Here, your voice matters and your work has real impact. You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team that celebrates innovation and wellbeing.

- Flexible, hybrid working arrangements – WFH two days per week
- Salary packaging to boost your take-home pay
