Your new company 
Hays are partnering with a well‑established Tasmanian organisation seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their Finance team. The business offers stable operations, supportive leadership, and a collaborative working environment.
Your new role 
Based on-site in Hobart, you will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with the wider Finance team. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting and supporting ongoing accounting activities across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed 
To be successful, you will have experience in a similar accounting role and be CA/CPA qualified or progressing toward completion. You will bring strong attention to detail, sound analytical skills, and the ability to work independently when required. Clear and effective communication skills and the capability to build productive internal relationships are essential. You will also need to be willing to undertake a national police check.
