About the role
The City of Coffs Harbour is looking for passionate and qualified Pool Lifeguards to play a crucial role in providing high-quality pool supervision and exceptional customer service across the City's pool locations
As a Pool Lifeguard, you'll be at the heart of the action! Your key responsibilities will include patrolling designated pool areas, monitoring water safety, assisting patrons when necessary, conducting pool water tests, performing equipment checks, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and ensuring high levels of public relations and customer service. Overall, you will collaborate closely with your team and pool customers to create a safe, clean and enjoyable pool experience for everyone.
We're seeking individuals with a current RLSSA (NSW) Pool Lifeguard Certificate, First Aid CPR qualification, paid Working with Children's Check, and a willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
Not fully qualified? There are potential opportunities for successful candidates to receive a subsidy to complete their training.

The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster and at the City's three pool locations in Woolgoolga, Coffs Harbour and Sawtell.

- Obtains all essential qualifications as outlined in the Position Description.
- Ability to maintain concentration and situational awareness.
- Initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent customer service, communication and teamwork skills.
