Plant Mechanic – Full Time

  • Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
  • 9 day fortnight

The City is seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic to provide mechanical servicing and workshop support to the Infrastructure Services Directorate.

The Plant Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the City’s fleet and plant assets, by maintenance activities, service scheduling and maintaining accurate asset records.

Applicants need to provide a resume and a covering letter addressing the following

  • Experience in maintenance and repair of trucks and mobile plant including turf maintenance equipment (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of fleet maintenance practices in medium to large organisations.
  • Workshop servicing and work scheduling.
