Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
Join the Hawkesbury District Hospital Nursing Team! We have an exciting permanent part-time opportunity (2 days per week) for a dedicated Registered Nurse to support our busy and dynamic Outpatients Department, including both Orthopaedics and Medical Outpatient Clinics.
In this role, you'll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care to patients, their families, and carers.

What you will bring to the role
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse including completion of a new graduate Registered Nurse program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse with recent wound care experience.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centered, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
- Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, according to the unit or team requirements.
