The Role

As a Support Worker, you will help participants achieve goals, develop skills and feel more connected to their communities. Your work may include

• Assisting with daily living tasks
• Accompanying participants to appointments or social activities
• Offering guidance, encouragement and companionship

Every interaction helps participants gain confidence, independence and a sense of control over their lives.

About You

We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic people who enjoy supporting others. Ideally, you have

• Experience or qualifications in disability, mental health, community support or related fields
• Empathy, patience and adaptability
• Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach
• The ability to work independently and in a team

Requirements

• Blue Card and Yellow Card or willingness to obtain
• Queensland Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
