Shellharbour Workers’ Club Ltd, encompassing The Shellharbour Club and The Imperial at Clifton, is a leader in the hospitality field operating one of the largest, most successful clubs on the South Coast as well as our latest iconic Illawarra venue, The Imperial at Clifton, located next to the Seacliff Bridge.
We are looking to welcome a new Marketing & Communications Coordinator to our marketing team. The marketing team is a key player within the Group; responsible for leading, planning and delivering venue-wide initiatives that drive patronage all while providing strong support to our operational teams to help achieve business objectives.
The Role – Marketing & Communications Coordinator
The full time Marketing & Communications Coordinator role will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Chief Marketing Officer on the implementation and delivery of a full spectrum of marketing activities across two businesses. We are looking for a creative and highly-organised all-rounder who is able to hit the ground running to deliver multiple initiatives and campaigns across our two venues. In this generalist role, you’ll be exposed to the full spectrum of marketing activities – create content, develop campaigns, lead photoshoots and plan exciting promotions. There will be a strong focus on building the digital footprint of the business including planning and executing web, EDM and social media campaigns.
In this role, you will be responsible for the:

Development, implementation and evaluation of marketing strategies designed to respond to changing trends and audiences with the market.

Coordination, communication and evaluation of promotional activities, events and activities.

Monitoring and developing content for websites, social media platforms and digital profiles.

Preparing clear briefs for the graphic design team to produce effective campaign graphics and overseeing print management.
What can you offer to the role?

Tertiary qualification in marketing and/or communications OR equivalent substantial industry experience.

High-level of written and verbal communication skills including strong copywriting skills.

Strong project management skills

Strong digital and social media management skills

High level of attention to detail
