Cabonne Council has an exciting opportunity with a vacancy in our Urban Infrastructure team for a Town Presentation Officer in Molong.
The Town Presentation team is responsible for maintaining parks, streets, gardens, public amenities, buildings, and tourist venues in a neat and tidy condition and free of rubbish in accordance with Council’s asset management plan objectives, relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and documentation.
Work teams are led by a supportive and proactive leadership team. You will be provided support and training in line with Council's values to learn the role and ensure our workers are resilient, adaptive and are able to perform to Council and community expectations.
This role is full-time, based in Molong.

What Do You Need to Be Successful?
Essential
- Construction Induction Certification (White Card).
- Class C driver’s licence.
Desirable

Current Chemical handling certification

MR drivers’ licence

Chainsaw Certification – level 1
Skills & Experience
- Good general knowledge of plant & machinery relating to town maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of plants and horticulture practices.
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills.
- Sound knowledge of mowing maintenance procedures and gardening practices.
- Demonstrated capacity to undertake labouring duties.
- Effective communications skills and ability to followed detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Demonstrated commitment to a team-based approach, reliability, and punctuality, with a proven ability to work in a team environment.
- Displays a positive attitude.
Other details relating to this position:
- This position is graded 3-4 ($1044.10 - $1180.50 gross per week).
