As we expand, we are seeking two experienced and dedicated Heavy Vehicle Fitters/Assemblers to join our team in Ormeau. If you have a strong background in vehicle assembly, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fit heavy-duty trucks

• Install and adjust parts and components, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards

• Test vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion

• Adhere to all workplace health and safety protocols

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Fitter/Assembler or in a similar mechanical role

• Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle assembly

• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and SOP's (standard operating procedures).

• Skilled in using hand and power tools required for vehicle assembly

• Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the workshop

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• A reliable, honest, and positive attitude—you're someone the team can count on

Preferred Skills:

• Trade certificate is desirable but not necessary

• Experience with hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and other heavy vehicle components

• Forklift license desirable
