The Role:
UHC are seeking a Disability Support Worker to support a male based in Goondiwindi, QLD. Our Participant sustained a spinal cord injury which is the result of a motor vehicle accident.

Support required Monday through to Sunday in the morning (7:00am - 9:30am / 8:00am - 2:00pm / 1:00pm - 7:00pm) and the evening (6:00pm - 10:00pm + sleepover until 7:00am).

This position offers upskilling for suitable applicants.

Rate of Pay:

• Day - $50.00 per hour
• Afternoon - $55.00 per hour
• Night - $56.00 per hour
• Saturday - $70.00 per hour
• Sunday - $90.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Domestic assistance
• Medication administration
• Manual handling: transfer, reposition and hoist
• Catheter management
• Colostomy management
• Transport and accompany to community access + health and rehab appointments
