About the role
Danila Dilba Health Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Clinic Administration Coordinator to join the Danila Dilba Health Service team in Palmerston, NT. This contract role is responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our medical clinics. As the Clinic Administration Coordinator, you will be a vital member of our healthcare team, contributing to the overall patient experience and supporting the delivery of exceptional medical services.
What you'll be doing

Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the medical clinics

Support and monitor accreditation, certification, and compliance activities, including preparation for audits, documentation, evidence collection, and stakeholder follow-up.

Supervise and manage a small team of administrative and support staff, including performance management, rostering, training, and development.

Coordinate clinic and service meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and documentation of outcomes and follow-ups.

Ensure effective onboarding, induction, and ongoing support for administrative staff to maintain consistent service standards and operational readiness.

Maintain and monitor compliance registers.
What we're looking for

Diploma of Management (or similar) and/or extensive demonstrated experience in providing high-level administrative support.

Well-developed knowledge of, and contemporary experience in, working with clients with chronic health conditions and relevant management strategies.

Knowledge of the social determinants of health (environment, economic and social inequalities) that have a profound impact on the health and well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Demonstrated ability to use culturally sensitive ways to ensure improved client access to DDHS and/or other health services.

Proven teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to constructively negotiate outcomes with a diverse range of people and service providers.

High level of personal resilience and flexibility with the ability to deal with challenging situations.

Demonstrated computer skills, especially in the use of client information systems or similar.
