Working within one of Council's well-known facilities, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to the community.

Key Duties:

  • Contribute to the planning and design of menus
  • Produce consistent quality food 
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety legislation
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness

About the Role

As a Chef at The Crossing Theatre, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Head Chef in running the kitchen.

You will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills by planning and designing delicious, nutritious, and innovative menus.

Your creativity will shine as you consistently produce high-quality meals in line with current trends. Additionally, you will contribute to cost and waste minimisation strategies and ensure compliance with Food Safety programs and relevant Health and Safety regulations.

About You

We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef with demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen. Your well-developed organisational and time management skills will allow you to excel in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads and changing priorities.

In addition, you should possess excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Availability to work a variety of shifts is required.
