We’re currently expanding our team and looking for a Branch Manager in Alice Springs to join us in delivering quality service to our customers.

About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Manager to provide safe, cost efficient and reliable distribution of customer freight whilst ensuring regional assets are maintained and utilisation is maximised. The successful candidate will also ensure that the regional network performs best practice service delivery to Centurion clients, along with superior cost control practices and branch absorption growth.If you're ready to make a significant impact and contribute to a dynamic, forward thinking and safety-focused team, we want to hear from you!We are willing to offer relocation assistance for the right candidate to support your move to Alice Springs. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all operations within the Alice Springs depot and strategically plan to provide efficient and maximised utilisation across staff and assets to support our client base.Manage commercial cost control for the branch.Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, potential customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.Drive operational excellence and process improvements.Provide operational and contractual ownership of nominated contracts.Maximise the level of return freight across Australia, including produce.Ensure appropriate policies, procedures, and organisational structures are in place to meet customer delivery expectations and ensure compliance.Manage direct reports by monitoring performance, identifying training needs/gaps, and ensuring adequate staffing coverage.Implement and manage compliance with HSEQ Management Plans.Make sound business decisions aligned with budgetary guidelines, delivering strong financial results through P&L performance. Skills and Experience: Tertiary qualification in Management or other relevant discipline, or extensive industry experienceAdvanced knowledge of road networks and locations, together with substantial experience in managing a general freight operationProven experience managing a large team within a complex operationThe ability to think strategically, analytically and outside of the boxAdvanced financial and budgeting skills with proven planning and project management skillsHigh level of attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills Why Join Centurion?
