One of the oldest established tour operators in the region is looking for an exceptional individual to join our fun, wildlife loving team!

We are the only Advanced Eco Certified business on the Daintree river and have a proud history of championing our environment. As one of our River Guides you will be captaining the vessel for hour to hour and half cruises, while explaining to visitors the flora and fauna of the Daintree River in an informed and entertaining manner. A good sense of humor and the ability to smile (even when it is raining) are essential!

Hours are flexible depending on the time of year but you will have to have some availability over holidays and long weekends. It is essential that you can work well within a team but also be capable of taking initiative when required. Training is provided to the successful applicant however a Coxswain boat license is the minimum certification you must have. Ideally, we are looking for someone that would like 2 - 5 days a week work but that is negotiable for the right person. A typical day starts at 8.30am and finishes between 4pm to 5pm.

Coxswains Grade 2 NC and a current (within the last 3 years) HLTAID011 first aid certificate with CPR.
