Southern Machinery is a Tasmanian owned business located in Kingston, Tasmania. We are looking for a person to manage our office, administration and finance. The role can be moulded to suit the right individual, offering a minimum of 25 hours per week, through to full time if preferred. Duties of the role will and can include:

  • Accounts receivable & payable

  • Creditor & debtor management

  • Daily & monthly reconciliation (incl. BAS)

  • EOFY preparation

  • Respond to phone & email enquiries

  • Travel arrangements for all staff

  • Freight (inbound / outbound) management

  • Maintain office supplies

  • Manage staff leave

  • Assist with apprenticeship sign up & maintenance

  • Manage on-site wholesale stock

  • Fleet management

  • Stocktake

  • Assist as needed in the business (ie. lunch cover)

  • Wages (for those with experience)

  • HR (for those with experience)

  • IT system maintenance (for those with experience)

  • Advertising / Social media (for those with experience)
